*Joseph was born in November 1805. He married Elizabeth Mitchell who was born
in 1808 at South Kirkby, Yorkshire. Joseph died in 1863 but Elizabeth lived
another 30 years and died in 1893. They are buried at St Peter's churchyard,
Edlington. This is also the burial ground of Joseph's parents.
Their marriage in October 1829 took place at
Brodsworth, Yorkshire.
